Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Education Scholarship Awardees
We are grateful to Mr. Salvatore (“Ted”) Mauro and Mr. Michael McGuigan of M&M Benefits who have generously funded these scholarships since their inception in 2014 to honor the life, dedication, and professional career of Sandy Hook Elementary School Principal Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung who was killed by a lone gunman on December 14, 2012 trying to protect her students, teachers, and staff. Twenty first graders and five professional educators were also killed.
